In this tutorial we walk through jumping a dead battery and changing out a car battery.

*Please be sure that when you are jumping a car, once the cables are connected to a battery you do not touch them to any metal or eachother. Once cables are live the should only touch the batteries.

Remember, it’s okay to be confused. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

 

What you’ll need:

  • A wrench, to remove the battery

  • Jumper Cables

  • A second car with a live battery

 

If you are buying a battery, the prices usually run between $100-$160. If you have access to a Costco, I highly recommend getting a car battery from there if you need one. Costco has great trade-ins for batteries.
